What types of items do you accept for consignment sales?

We are pleased to accept a wide variety of items from household goods, to machinery, to fine antiques.

Is there a minimum or maximum number of items I can place on consignment?

There is no minimum or maximum number of items necessary to be placed on consignment. However, if you plan to place a large number of items on consignment we suggest you call ahead or e-mail us so we may arrange for proper storage of your items.

What information do I need to bring with me to have a check approved?

Please bring a photo ID with you such as a valid drivers license or passport. This will be used for both check approval and auction registration.

Will I have to pay sales tax on purchases?

The State of Virginia requires us to charge 5 percent sales tax on purchases unless you present a valid tax exemption number.

What are your payment terms?
Terms & Conditions for Personal Property Auctions: 13% buyers premium, 3% discount for cash or good check. Sale always held regardless of weather under large tent, refreshments available. All items sell "as is, where is" , all items to be removed same day.
Terms & Conditions of Real Estate Auctions: 10% buyers premium added to final bid price, deposit must be made day of sale and closing in 30-45 days. All real estate sold "as is, where is". Broker Participation is 3% and you must be present with client day of sale.
